人間の誕生は、たった一つの受精卵から始まり、細胞分裂を繰り返して、37兆個にまで増殖してできた奇跡の存在です。 特別でなくても、ただ生きているだけで、尊い命。何気ない日常を懸命に生きる人の姿が、私には愛おしく美しく魂の輝きを感じます。自身を愛し、輝ける命に誇りも持ってポジティブに生きて欲しいというメッセージを込めた【美しき細胞】シリーズ作です。

ARTIST Miu (b. 1975) Born in 1975, ARTIST Miu is a Contemporary artist, graduated from Takarazuka University of Art and Design. ARTIST Miu studied under Shozo Shimamoto who is the co-founder of the former GUTAI Art Association. Cement is the main material in ARTIST Miu’s artistic creation. ARTIST Miu render cement a touch of vitality and transforms a mundane and raw material into colourful and scrupulous works that awaken “hope”. Currently living and working in Japan, ARTIST Miu has exhibited in Taiwan, France, and other countries, including solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, spatial art and public art projects.
